The weather still can't decide what it's doing. Looks like it should be dry in the morning with a possibility of light rain.
I am planning to head over on Friday night and then return on Saturday for the ride.

Andrew I'm one of the ones who dropped out currently sitting Japan due to work commitments. I am gutted I cant be there as I have been to tribe meetings in the past and was really looking forward to this meet.
Vince PM me and I'll happily pay a third of your fuel costs.

It's a tough job to locate a venue that suits such a gathering and a tougher job sorting out a route that has a little for everyone. I think the weekend was a winner on both counts.
Always good to meet and mingle with other Tribe members too.
Thanks for the hard work and preparation pulling it all together guys.

Thanks again Andrew, the Silverfish crew, Mr Beaumont and the family for making the whole weekend such a buzz. I had a great time!! Nice to see I'm not the only geek in the village! LOL Skinnyman, the pleasure was all mine. Look me up on facebook "simon eynon-williams"
If anyone finds themselves in the West Country/Bristol area and fancies a ride, be it pumptrack, BMX, Dirt Jump, big hits or epic XC, give me a call. I'd be happy to take a day off for one of the Tribe.
Oh and next year I promise not to smash myself up just before the meet and keep you all waiting.... Thanks for putting up with me! XX Bagpuss

Love the group photo, there are loads of you. Sorry I wasn't there, bad timing for a chest infection! Hopefully will be fit and well next time. (cough, cough)

We missed a few people, including you Jon.
Kev with his broken fingers, Chris in NYC using up his air miles. Ronan and the 'kids', Ruth, Jamie, Steve and, of course, Yeti Stu - hope you are all well and will be back next time.

A big thanks to everyone who was involved in the Tribe meet. I was my first, but won't be my last.
Extra thanks to Andrew for letting my nephew ride with us (poor lad was on a Spesh Stumpy). He is now very much a YetiFan and has started saving his pennies for some turquoise loveliness!!
Thanks again to all

Glad you all seemed to enjoy yourself. Organising the meet takes a lot out of me, both personally an financially. But it's worth the effort if people are having fun.
I think it was the best location yet, and the pub and hostel were happy with how we were.
If we ever return, I'll get the pub to sort the breakfasts, as that was probably the only area that we needed other options on. Its cool that the YHA can host so many tents too.
If the person who took my banner off the gate could return it please, this was a gift from an old friend. There is not a supply of yeti freebies that come my way like you may imagine.
I really want to sort the meet for next year, we already have some big news from Colorado if we do.
But......
I'm not Into giving up all my spare time and money for somebody to take my personal belongings too. Yetifan is a hobby, not a job. I probably put about £300 of my own cash into the meet this year.
We even gave you some free swag!! Put on a free guided ride & might get your picture in mbuk and privateer.
What more do I need to do???
