I asked, and SF dont have it. The pub has no cameras.
It was on the gate in the parking field, so pretty hidden.

That narrows down the list of suspects somewhat! All of us at the YHA had no reason to go up past the field apart from the on the ride. I first knew about the field at the BBQ and many others I doubt had any knowledge at all. We need to list who parked up there and then start knocking them off the list.....What do you think Sherlock?? I remember seeing a silver BMW and a Landrover? Anyone else remember who was parked up there??

I'm really sorry it got taken Andrew, I'm not sure where the parking field was but if it was the one out the back of the pub there were people not at the meet knocking around over the weekend too... Just saying.. As for cost I'd be willing to bung a fiver into a hat at the start of the ride next yr to cover a few costs, the guys in Colorado do!

The Land Rpver Defender was me, I had to leave early and went about noon on the saturday. I had a good chat with Andrew's dad in the field carpark before leaving and can recall that the black axe banner was still on the gate as i left the field.
Does leave a 'bitter taste' somewhat...to what looked an ace meet.

Ah well, somebody had a nice momento of the weekend.
Glad you all had a fun time, and I think the vintage bikes on Saturday were a nice thing for people to look at too.
We already started talking about 2013, it will be the tenth anniversary of the UK meets. Sandy is on board again, and we've bashed some ideas about. Somebody from Yeti is already booked to come over too ride and hang with us.
If anybody found the lady at the YHA a bit abrasive, she explained that recently another group of Mtbers had actually trashed the place. Now they know us, we will be welcome back with open arms, same for the pub. They loved having us along. I heard some locals in the pub comment it was nice to see some atmosphere in there.
We talked about locations already too and have a nice venue in mind. Little pub, near a stream that does breakfasts, camping and beds nearby, very quiet, 2 awesome rides from the same start point...................

She was only tetchy because I wouldn't give her my mobile number Andrew I, and a few other, were also very pleased to get locked in by Liz on Friday night too (well, who wouldn't?). Trying to ride a bike a bit later that morning was a bit tricky though. I shall probably never drink that much again.

Really disappointing about the banner on the field gate going missing.
I parked there (Blue Mini Cooper S) but left on the Saturday afternoon and it was there when we departed at about 15:30. I assume it went on the Sunday?
I really hope it turns up.
Can't wait for the next Tribe meet 2013 !!

We are looking at the same venue, the pub, camping and hostel were pretty perfect location wise.
We have 2 totally different rides planned for the next time, taking in the other end of the Mynd and then Stiper stones. As we proved what a good bunch we are, we are now cool to ride on some permissive tracks.
So thanks everybody for behaving.
Already got news that somebody from Colorado will be with us.
There is already a few different vintage bikes lined up for vintage Saturday too.
Plus we've got some other stuff we are working on.

I will send them in named folders, so if any are used, you may get a thank-you ! I would like to send the disc(s) in a week or so if possible. fred.simpson@tiscali.co.uk Thanks Fred
