I didn't really make it clear in my last post, it's me that has requested the alloy one, I don't want another carbon swingarm. This one is coming from the US, as did the last one, seems they don't keep spares this side of the pond.

did you ever have a matt carbon swing arm or only ones with the gloss paint ?

Hi I'm a bit worried about what I have read to be honest. Am of to the alps in a few weeks and don't want the frame failing on me! Am gonna go give its good going over. What's the warranty process like? Do you need proof of purchase/ownership and stuff. Can't be dealing with no bike to ride.....

Stu, it won't fail, I rode mine in Spain for a week with numerous cracks on it. The warranty process is okay in part, they want a pic of your receipt etc. the bad side is that they don't seem to keep much in stock in the UK, which means a 4 week wait IME, and they wanted the rear swing arm sent back too. I'd gladly have ridden the thing for a couple of months, but that option isn't there.
Also, it's not all that crack, lots of people have had no issues with them.
