hi there yeti newbi here been waiting a while for a second hand frame to turn up and very happy i did. managed to build my 575 up for less than £1800 using auction sites and freinds in high places ;D think im happy as it is now, i did try a 160mm fox float 36 but this just killed snapy handling of the bike and made it very hard to keep the front end down on climbs but prob better if your a dh nut. i will poss change forks to a rs revelation 20mm axle or a fax van 15mm axle soon just for the extra stifness. tried various tyre combos like michelins, panaracers, kendas, contis ect and found the maxxis combo perfect for aggressive trail riding with minimal drag

Thats a good build for the cash!
No need to buy new forks, you can upgrade the lowers by FOX to the 15mm version, It was £150 when I got mine, and saves buying all new forks!
Easy to fit as well.

ive already looked into that option but the prices have shot up and there now over £200.
i think ive found a bargain on a set of brand new 09 fox van 32s with 15mm qr for near enough same as new lowers.

Nice build richg79 Good luck with the bottle cage though, i found even with a small water bottle it would catch the rp23 levers Happy trails

A Bontrager carbon side entry cage with a Yeti bottle fits just snug avoiding the pro pedal lever !
