HI Guys.
Firstly, would like to Thank Evolution for all the cash and help over the past tribemeets. Its been great and its suprising how much it can cost to put on free T's, beer, demo bikes, staff, Hog roast and a cheap uplift.
This year there is no plan for a riding tribemeet from the Evolution guys, they are involved with being the title sponsor of an enduro race somewhere (waiting for info on this). So early thoughts are the Tribemeet could be at this race, your all welcome, but I can't see there being any riding to be had unless you enter the race. Good news is, its all there, Food, Toilets,Camping,Parking, entertainment.
I am unsure of the dates for this at the moment.
Which leads me onto the next question. Anybody got any thoughts on going solo this year?
and by that I mean, pick a date, pick a place and lets just meet for some riding. I know that Cwmcarn was a nightmare for Howard and Stu, so we can discount that already.
Remember, there is no budget, no back up and its unofficial just like the first 1 was.
As much as I'd like too, I don't think we can cater for the DHers, but need to keep it to trail riding.
Dhers can look at the forum post about Fort William in September and see if that appeals. I know there will be loads of 303 RDH out there by then.

Andrew, How about a "come and ride my local trails" type thing - unofficial meets from time to time, with folks posting up times, dates and places on a forum thread? Then we can go and travel to new areas to ride someone else's local trails with a local, and Yeti-riding, guide? I know there are plenty of places in the UK that I'd fancy riding but don't always have the time or inclination to get a map, plan a route etc... Stu

Funny you mention that, I'd emailed Howard and though of a keeping up with the tribe-page on the site/forum.
We could include the Bike Radar Demo days, The enduro race thingy. The 4x/DJ/BMX day Dingo was planning too.
Will be a shame to loose the 1 big meet type event, but it could be a good way to go and easy.

There are so many opportunities to meet up at events - I am at loads of demo days ( I know EddyB is thinking of one at Stainburn :-)), also the new Yeti UK xc team, Endruo events and Pat Adams' new NPS weekend of racing (sponsored by Yeti UK), as well as Lionel and the guys who are racing Yeti in 4X...... I'll keep folk updated on where me and the demo fleet will be - normally a wet and muddy field somewhere :-)

There was a lot of campsite rules, carpark rules, visitor centre rules, if the weekend is an event or a gathering brings a whole lot of rules, the free beer was a problem. then there was the getting a permit for the free food, you need to get a company with all the right documents to please the council...I could go on!!
The Forestry commission owns the forest and the carpark, but the local council owns the visitor centre (unlike any other of the trail centers) this causes many problems with them having to agree with each other.
Uplift dude is sound though!!

[May 1st (Bank Holiday), Glyncorrwyg - there are about 8 of us going ....] Hi, is that May 1st (the Friday and not a Bank Holiday) or the 1st May Bank Holiday (the Monday, the day that is a Bank Holiday) ? If that makes sense ... FF
