Well it wasnt a Yeti win as Nick Craig got paid to turn up and win. Anyhow Scott Thwaites was 3rd and Mark came 5th. Though the Crosstrax team did do rather well finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th 10th and I came 112th.
I would recommend anyone to do it as its far superior to any race in the UK.

Now then Ed! Was thinking of doing this next year, what kind of trails is it made up ?of most of the pictures i've seen it looks like doubletrack/fireroad type riding, any interesting stuff, singletrack etc? I like the idea of an end to end rather than riding laps around a park or stately home!!Would you recommend it?

I can't recommend it enough, the course is mostly fireroads, and rocky tracks, thought there is a lot of moorland and a long road section at the start, though considering there may be 1000 next year so it does avoid bottlenecks.
Next year I plan to make a long weekend of it as it is such a good laugh on the island. Might take the Yamaha and reccie the trails on the Dirtbike.
