Hi guys and girls. I used to use Halfords clear ones which were great, but have just bought some new ones from Park I think, and they just don't stick to the frame. Anyone know where I can get some really sticky ones that will work?

Cheers for that. Will give them a go as I've not had much luck with anything else.

Make sure to clean the surface well with alcohol and follow the directions.

Have you tried helitape?

Tried helitape first but really couldn't get that to stick. Have just bought some Lizardskin patches and they seem to be exactly the same as the Halfords ones. Super sticky and seem to do the job perfectly.

I used copter tape on my Anodised 575 with no issues. If your struggling getting it to stick do it somewhere warm or very gently warm the area with a hair dryer first. Basically your trying to warm the glue up so it gets into the "rougher" finish of an anodised surface. I didn't have use a hair drier as I put the frame in a nice warm room for an hour or so, cleaned the areas with alcohol and copter tape stuck fine and has been on a couple of years now with no issues.
I've found with copter tape that it's beneficial to round off any 90 degree corners off... it prevents peeling from the sharp corners.
