Hello
Not a build thread, just the finished product
I thought as I've been asking so many questions I'd better put the bike up on the forum
I built the bike up using money from an insurance claim for my stolen BFe and selling just about anything that was lying about
2011 Yeti 575 with standard Fox RP23 shock (hoping to upgrade this to kashima for extra bling)
Fox Float 32 RL 150mm fork (hoping to upgrade this to a 160mm BOS Deville next year some time)
Chris King Headset
Truvativ AKA 60mm stem
Bontrager Rhythm 710mm bars
ODI Yeti lock on grips
XT brakes with 180mm Ice Tech disc front and rear
XT shifter, 10speed XT mech, 36-12 XT cassette
XT Cranks with Hope 34tooth chain ring, Blackspire stinger and E13 top chain device
SLX Trail pedals
Charge spoon saddle
Rock Shox Reverb 125mm seat post
Mavic Crossmax ST wheels
Schwalbe tyres - 2.35 Nobby Nic on the front and 2.25 Nobby Nic on the back for a bit of extra clearance. I put a snakeskin version on the back recently as I've been plagued with holes in the sidewalls of the standard tyre, hopefully this will help
Its my ultimate bike so I'll only be upgrading bits or replacing broken bits for the next load of years. That is unless I upgrade to a newer model or an SB66.....
My reverb and the dogbone broke recently and I ripped another hole in the back tyre (third for this one), so its been an unlucky month or so. But on the whole the bike is brilliant. Managed to race a few enduros in Ireland this year and its perfect for them. I'm head over heels in love with it
Oh and I really fancy a custom Charge spoon in Yeti colours to match the bike
Hope you like it
Cheers
Mark
