Been wanting a 575 for a while now. Finally got one about a week ago. You all know what it's like to ride a yeti so I will just bore you with the details.of the build: (None of this matters.one bit if it doesn't get ridden. I've got about 75 miles on it since finishing it about a week ago) 2011 575, medium. Waiting on the 2011 Fox talas 150 to show up. Talas 140 on it is for sale. Sram X0 cranks replaced the Saints that were on there. Sram X0/X9 2x10 avid elixir R brakes F/R Industry 9 enduro wheelset (also for sale) thomson seatpost, troy lee/selle saddle. Easton EC70 bars replaced broken monkey lites. Thomson X4 elite stem, 80mm Geax sagauro 2.2 tires on now. You might spot Mountain King 2.4's or Race King 2.2's from time to time. It's not an ultra-light XC rig, nor is the rider. It's right at 28 pounds. Had it down to just under 27 but hey, I'm a 200 pound former bmx'er (all disciplines from race to vert ) and I want a bike I can ride the hell out of and have it begging for more, not for me to get off of.it LOL. It sees mostly technical/rocky singletrack here in texas. I'll hit arkansas on it, Probably head to colorado in june, hit up the east coast end of summer.

And yeah, those are platform pedals on it. After riding clipped in for roughly 14 years, even raced pro-level bmx clipped in, I decided that not only do I prefer platforms on my mtb, I am genuinely faster on them. Has a lot to do with riding style and little to do with "keeping it old school". Not for everyone, but certainly for me : )
