 Upgraded from my 10yr old Schwinn 4 Banger to this  (yes, it can be described as "a slight improvement"  ) XTR Trail: Chainset, Shifters, F & R Mechs, Brakes, Cassette, Pedals (incoming this week or next). Raceface SixC carbon bars. Thomson Seatpost and 70mm Stem Hope Pro II/DT Swiss EX500 Wheels. Current weight with ye olde pedals - 28.6lbs.

Looks awesome, I'm building 575 25th aswell, XTR is the way to go, some good deals on last years as apose to the 2011 stuff, great machine uv got there, may steel a few of ur ideas haha :-)

Im afraid, it dosent matter how much bling is on the bike, the anniversary colours dont do it for me. much prefer the turq and white or the turq with some yellow, theres too much yellow on the bike.

Im afraid, it dosent matter how much bling is on the bike, the anniversary colours dont do it for me. much prefer the turq and white or the turq with some yellow, theres too much yellow on the bike.  .....but if you saw the first YETI's when they came out back in the day and couldnt afford one (like me) then this new scheme hits all the right spots....

Nice ride. excellent build. I think the colours look better in the flesh. Really liked mine once I saw it.

Got to agree with Eddy on this one. Lovely bike but really strange colour scheme, especially the colour coded forks. Just doesn't do it for me, but then I don't remember when the bikes were originally these colours. Very nice build though.

The yellow does look better in real life.
It would be 93-96 when yeti sold colour coded rockshox with their frames.

I started riding in '93 - hence the love of the colour scheme  And i couldn't think of a nicer 30th birthday present to myself (had to make sure i'd open at least one present i'd enjoy!!)

Thing is I do remember the Yetis when they were this colour and really wanted one, however times change and I prefer the newer colour schemes.
Again everyone has their preferences
