I'm looking for the correct model front derailleur for an 04 ASR. I had about 6 models around the house, but not of them seemed to fit--lots of congestion with the rear swing arm.
Does anyone have a suggestion /model type? Thinking XT quality
Think I have the odd cable routing under control, so this is the last piece of the puzzle
thanks
hahaha ASR and XT are not in the spell check dictionary!

You need an XT "conventional" bottom pull front mech.
If you get an '08 model mech you wont need to worry about clamp size or to/bottom pull as they are universal fit.

Older (previous) XT top pull with a high collar works fine, don't know about the latest XT. I had to trim my XTR cage to clear the swingarm, just a bit of Dremel work nothing to spectacular.
