hello,
i just went to take my yeti our for a ride and realized my rear shock was low on air pressure. After installing/releasing air a few times I realized I have the dreaded 'stuck down' air shock (according to the diagonosis in the Fox RP3 manual).
Nonetheless, I need to order the linkage tool and disassemble the rear shock. Any advice? Are the instructions online at the Yeti site easy to follow?
thanks mike

Getting the shock off with the linkage attached is a doddle, getting the shaft out of the shock and the linkage is fiddly without the proper tool, but you can use a vice and a couple of sockets. The main advantage of the tool is that it allows you to push the shaft through just the right amount when re-fitting.
As for stripping the fox shock, that is a doddle as it just unscrews.
