Can be done from £250 per head to do 2 days ride with 2 days drive.
If we can get some ideas as to when and who.
The uplift restarts may. Weather wise id avoid mid summer, september was spot on as the track is ok with a little rain.
We could do with organising who can drive and if they can take passengers. (saves on fuel which, is the big cost)

Jeremy, I assume that £250 include accommodation for the said period. This seems to be reasonable and I reckon two solid days of riding is enough even for the wildest riders. I am not sure as to availability next year but as soon as we start thinking about specific dates then I would be able to make arrangements at work (provided I still have a job). Cheers

Sounds like quite allot, but I would potentially be up for it, when would we need to pay buy? As being a student my money comes in all at certain times then gets drained. I really want to ride the 4x track especially.

it's more or less cash in hand on the day. i'm looking at may or september. £250 is for everything apart from food and ale. it may work out less but thats a safe figure.

has a proposed date been set for this, i live in Aberdeen, and would come across, not so far to travel as going to the tribe meet in wales which i did a couple of years back (2007). if you are going to fort bill, take in laggens wolftrax trails as it is only 1/2 hours drive from the fort bill trails and worth the effort. when we go its the world cup trial in the morning then onto laggen for the two red routes then home.

Jeremy, I am keen, just need to know about 2 weeks in advance to make work arrangement, although it will soon be not a problem as my job is soon about to finish. Anyway, keep us updated. This year I am keen to make at least two runs

My 09 schedule seems to be filling up so amazingly fast, but please let me know, I'd hate to miss the chance to take my 303 down that fantastic track.
Only ridden it once since the Mega back in July.
Infact, where did I leave it last??

September the 4th through till the 7th. 2 days drive with a day to fall off bikes and a day to fly them. Accomodation is about £17 a night in a local hostel and t would cost no more than £45 for 2 days uplift. i'll most likely be going with sasquach meaning my van is full. just have to remember it's 7 hours from manchester + about 3 or 4 more for london

andrew doubt you'll be able to get home on the late sunday as the road up there is ok in the light but going through them mountain passes in the dark after being smashed up by the ridng (don't think anyone will stay upright for a full 2 days) is not a good idea. that's why i'm thinking monday to drive back.
