Can anyone give me any idea as to how the rear gear cable is slotted through the centre guides on the down tube on the new 575 as they seem very loose , do you use any plastic guides etc thanks Andy

I just checked how I did mine, and I just pushed them through, no spacers or anything. It's secured at the 2 on the chainstay, so it can't go anywhere.
What you can do if you like is get a small zip tie, and just go round the cable where it fits into the first one, just round the cable, not the frame, this will stop it moving up and down.

Andrew did you take the rear gear cable over the btm bracket shell with the brake hose or under on the yeti site cable routing it shows it going over the btm brkt with the hose and through the swing arm thanks andy smith

I dont know about Andrew, but I run mine over the bottom bracket shell. This does keep the cable from moving, but it does wear the paint on the bottom bracket shell and makes a tight bend on to the swingarm which needs a strong zip-tie.(always carry a spare) But it does keep the cable away from all the crud. Ive started running it this way on a nuber of Specializeds.

I run mine under the BB shell. You need to put a stong cable tie on the first cable eyelet to stop it moving.
I did over the BB shell (as advised by Seth at Yeti) on my last one, and was a little pissed off when it wore the paint out, and left a big groove on the bb shell.
Can take a pic if you like?

I am going to put a piece of carbon on the B/Bkt shell to stop the rubbing of the paint. But then I have put a carbon patch on the frame behind the B/Bkt shell to stop the front mech cable rubbing on the B/Bkt shell too.
This is a temporary fix as I am adapting a cable guide to offset the cable and keep it away from the frame.
