A while a go I started rebuilding a second hand ASR SL (read more here: forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=355534 )
In the mean time I finished it.
I had the frame stripped from its paint and had it anodized black, rebuild it with mostly new parts (excepts cranks and brakes).
Now I am enjoying riding a Yeti, I just love it.
The joy of rding this bike might be the trigger to buy a carbon ASR or newer alu one (lighter frame, RP23 damper). Or I might end up keeping this frame but swopping the damper to a RP23. Anyway the bike is just what I need for the upcoming race season (will be riding some hard courses in France), light but reliable. I am looking forward to taking it to the UK Tribemeet...
