Hi just brought a sb66c and I'm replacing the xt brakes with some hope e4,s is there a max rear rotor size that yeti recommends cheers .

Think it's 180mm, but you should not need anymore than 160 with today's brakes unless headed to the alps or somewhere with big descents.

Had a quick look and searched the docs for "180", "Disk", "disc" & "rotor" but can't see where it specifies 180mm max in the manuals. Never thought about it as I always tend to run a 160 on the rear of all my bikes with anywhere from 180 to 200 on the front. www.yeticycles.com/#/manualsHowever totally agree with Andrew a 160 or 180 is all you'll ever really need.

I have a printed manual that came with my SB66c and it has an appendix with Q&A listed in it.
How big of a rotor will fit on the frame?
The SB66 has a direct mount rear brake tab and can run a 160mm rotor without the need for a brake adaptor. With the use of a brake adaptor the frame can accept up to a 185mm rotor.
