Has anybody heard of the crabon chainstay's on the new 575 being weak?
Mate told me about one that broke (not crashed) in afan, yeti then would not replace it under warrenty saying it was from a crash!!
Anybody suffered from this?

Not heard of a single one in the UK being broken.
Evolution would not just refuse to warranty a broken frame, Crash damage is hard to assess and would need to be looked at before deciding if its a warranty claim or not.
It may be a case of the frame being an import and therefore the guy would need to take the frame back to where he got it from.

maybe this could be a warning to all the people who are looking to save cash importing frames support your local dealer and he will support you I know a chap with a 4 year old Pinarello road frame that cracked in a number of places spoke to his dealer who spoke to the importer who replaced the frame with a higher spec model even though it was outside of the warranty period as a mark of good faith

Whoah, scary subject. I snapped my carbon chainstay on sunday at whites level (Afan). See my thread on the general yeti talk board. I bought mine from Two Wheels about 3 months ago and have not crashed it yet (I know i will eventually). I spoke with two wheel's and will be taking it back there this weekend. Does not sound like it will be a problem getting it fixed on warranty. Although i have only just realised that i had not sent in my warranty card so that went straight in the post.
