Ok I'm on here now might as well get a thread going.
What do we think of the new direction in colours?
Not convinced myself, I still think the original 303 colourway is the best (Sorry Andrew), the 4x and DJ somehow look less 'special'. Of course I'm only gauging this from pics I've seen, I'm sure in the flesh they'll still be the best bikes out there.
Who's on the team this year? Any interesting additions or departures?
Matt

There is a new DH rider for the global team. There is also the rebirth of the old Yeti Europe DH team here in the UK.

I like the new scheme, I saw the DJ at Bromley and I like the fact you can get it in the team issue colours now.
My 303 is the best though!
New 575, looks a lot better in the metal than the old one.
The classic Yellow is missing though, but Yeti seems to go in and out of this scheme every few years. It will be back!

The 2008? When did they came in? I like the new colourscheme, but got some pictures in that tells that Yeti is going back to the old scheme maybe even in 2009... Don't bother... they are still beautiful ;D

Sorry, my mistake! It was an ARC, the DJ I looked at was all black, I just checked my pictures.

I hope the Seven will be offered in the ASX raw/white color and the team color, the solid colors to me look really boring! If indeed the Seven is the replacement for the ASX, Yeti should pay tribute to the ASX by doing the Seven in the raw/white scheme. ;D

I like the 575 colour sheme and graphics for 08 plane simple and to the point lots of other brands have gone overboard with the graphics and multi colours for 08 and the bikes just look cluttered. I think thats the problem with the 08 ,ASR DJ etc it just looks like theres to much going on!!!!!!

Is the new DH rider Justin Havukainen?
Yes I suppose the 575 looks ok but I'm still not convinced with the other models, especially the seven.
Cheers

Just looked at the colors again...
- I like: turquoise-and-white and white-and-raw: these two have a pretty "fresh" look in my eyes. Maybe even better than turquoise-and-yellow.
- the solid colors look somehow boring now. I like the ano black of the previous years but not the painted black.
- I hate the turquise and black. Sorry, cannot help it. It is awful.

I agree. I always go with first impressions (I'm shallow like that). I first saw the new 575 at the London Bike Show in Oct. & was immediately drawn to the black ano. However hard I tried, I couldn't like the turquoise one. Only seen an orange one in pics, but I still think the anodised finish looks classier (& it's tougher). I'd like to see the pewter one in the flesh, but I'll probably be going for black.

Just popped into my local bike shop (Phil Corley cycles) in MK and found there a YETI dealer for 08 ,GAME ON !! they have a 575 in turquoise fully built up with full xtr and mavic x-max slr wheels ...Made my mide up ,my 575 will be turquoise..looks even better in the flesh. They also have a ARC & ARC-X frames on display in team turquoise/white ..Have to say the new colours look so much better in the flesh ... so any one in the MIlton Keynes area needs to go take a look ..........sorry about the drool on the bikes couldn't help myself.....
