Hi Andrew,
Looking for some help/advice. I posted this on the Facebook page but though it would be more useful on the forum so sorry for the double post.
I've got an SB66c and I'm looking to find a replacement o-ring for the non-drive side of the switch (part number 300040430 number 8 on the exploded diagram in the manual). It wasn't present when I removed the switch (missed when my LBS built the bike by the looks of it). The bearings are fine so could do without having to buy those just for the o-ring. Any ideas please?
If I have to buy the bearing kit does that come with both o-rings?
Also, I noticed the the rubber on the bump stop screw was cracked. Is this normal for this part given the bike is only 9 months old?
Cheers,
John.

There is a newer harder bump stop rubber. It's in the store.
O ring has probably eaten its self and gone AWOL. These only come with the full bearing kit, the full rebuild kit or I think the switch link hardware kit. I'll see if I can get one on its own. Can't see why not.

Thanks Andrew, appreciate your help. If you can let me know I'll order the bump stop and whatever else I need at the same time from the store. It would be handy if the o-rings came with the switch bearing kit.
I assume the o-ring is only there to stop water ingress so safe to ride without it?

Yes it's just a seal.

Yes, it's not possible to get them on their own.

No they don't. Only with
Sb66 master rebuild kits Sb66 bearing rebuild kits Sb66 eccentric hardware.
It's unusual to hear of the o rings wearing out. I've never broken one.
In other news, I'll be stocking the smaller inner eccentric bearing in pairs soon too.

Thanks again Andrew. I think it just wasn't fitted by the bike shop as there was no sign of it at all. Is it the same eccentric kit for the alloy and carbon?

I think it could be the same, not entirely sure. I'll check.

Just checked, no seals in the picture I have. So maybe it's bearing kit only??
Would a used one be any good? Seal that is?

Thanks for the response Andrew. I appreciate all the digging round you've done.
My reason for asking is that the SB95 eccentric kit does show the o-rings (or at least one of them).
Anyway, I fired a quick mail off to Yeti in the States to ask the same question and got an interesting response:
"Your best bet for that part is to contact Silverfish directly (UK distributor) and see if they might have something like that around. That said, you don’t really need that O-Ring… In fact in wetter climates we sometimes recommend not using it because it can trap water in the system if it gets in. I would say that you should run without that ring until you need to do a more major overhaul on your bike and think about replacing it then."
I'm happy to run without if Yeti say so. Nice to have the email as a warranty back up just in case but I can't see it doing any harm.
I'm just about to order and end stop bumper as mine is shot.
John.
