I'm shore this has talked about on the old forum ,But i can't believe YETI aren't going to produce a bmx for sale to the public specially with bmx in the olympics in 08 they'd sell shed loads ... It's just my 11 year olds seen the picture on the forum main page and wants me to get him one .wouldn't mind one myself .......BMX YETI ...good idea/bad idea.....

They are doing one, the one you see on the front page is not going to be anything like it, that one is a 'street' BMX for TJ.
There will be a limited run of 100 made in Colorado (so I am told).
Jared now rides a YETI BMX, check out the last (I think) Yeti video cast on the site, and check out the Letters page to see jared on his bike giving it some action.
Sit tight!

Latest info, Yeti has made some BMX's.
But..................
They are still talking about building one, or how many, or how to do it. So keep checking the Yeti site nearer to the time of the olympics. And of course, Yetifan!

Thanks for the heads up Andrew. I'll keep an eye out. Would hope that Bromleys will get to import some as and when? ??

*kick* Jared's website wrote: Frame came in at 2kg on the dot for frame and BB (4.4 lbs) on my frame (21.5 Top Tube) and a bit less for Sams (21.25 Top Tube) Complete build up as pictured, 9.1kg (20lbs exactly) Were also trying something new on this frame. The new Shimano pressed BB cups, you can still run any normal external bearing cranks, so dont worry about that, its just a touch lighter and stiffer apparantly. Its going to be a pretty standard thing throughout the entire 2008 YETI range.
