I'm after some help, in the need of some new cycle shorts, wearing lycra shorts with baggy unlined shorts over the top,had some fox mid ranger shorts (couple of years ago) but wasnt happy with the foam pad and they tore too easy (i only do trail riding & they didnt last 18 months) any feedback welcome ,lined baggy or lycra not fussed a good shorts a good short whatever the style. many thanks Paul

Paul I have used 2 systems bib shorts with baggies over the top and baggies with a liner and I am currently using a northwave baggie with a removalable liner which is very comfortable not as comfy as assos f1 bibs but good for less than half the price the pad in the liner is comfy and is wearing well using assos chamois cream to keep supple and avoid chaffing but pleased with the NW short

Pretty much the same here, some bib shorts with a pair of Cannondale baggies over them, 'Grind' are the baggies I think.
Works very well for me, and in the Autumn 3/4 length bibs, perfect for those cold old knees.

Looking at baggies myself at the moment. I like the look of the Mace Nos and they seem to be reasonably priced. Check them out.
