A more pertinent comment/question this time folks. Honestly! Whats the situation with food for Sat eve? Is there anything on site at the Bar, or is BYO BBQs, Meat and Beer the order of the day? Also what's the general census on tyres? I'm gonna bring a pair of Bettys, Alberts and a maybe some Betty DH's? I've already packed and the bikes by the door........i've combed my hair and and and might leave early to avoid the traffic...LMFAO

The Drop Off will be open until 11pm, I am not sure what time they stop doing food. But I am sure its later.
There is a nice looking pub a few miles away.
There is nothing stopping a BBQ in the campsite I don't think.
I''m planning on eating as much in the Drop off as possible.

I phoned dropoff this morning, they do breakfasts from 9am and stop doing food at 9pm. They are licensed until 10pm, they told me.

Sorry Foz, would love to but can't. I am setting out nice and early Sat morning to catch the sunrise over the brecons so should be on the site around 8 am.
Plenty of time to quaff some porridge and get ready for the day!
Anyway i can only handle half a pint, so i wouldn't want to overdo it on the first night!
Only jokin,
See Ya all Saturday morn bright and early.

Hi guys im doing (excuse the spelling) Penhryidd sat am, Wall sat pm then up the road to the dropoff. for drinkys. sunday im gonna just do whites. -with a couple of runs down the black. i go afan most weekends-last friday it was hammering down. Got home and got sunburnt. So just assume the worst when it comes to Afan weather then you will be happy if it dont rain. Also as people have already said, none of the tracks get muddy. I will be the one on a turq 575. LOL Also- if anyone takes their bikes in to Skyline to be fixed, ask the boss mech (largest bloke) how many 575 hes seen snapped. It changes every time - hes told me hes seen 7, then 3, then 2. Last week he said that mine was the first time he had seen one not broken. Im sure its nowt to do with the fact that he dont sell them LOL and he sells commonfail snappers as well. Pot Kettle Black i believe. Nice guy tho.

Guido1: Good call for Sunday. Can I tag on? Never ridden Whites and like the sound of the Black Run!
I'm the white T5 VW Transporter with a Bagpuss on the dash. Or the out of breath, sweating profusely, fat bloke on a old Black ASX! LOL
