I have just about had my 08 575 for 12 months, it was the first UK customer purchased frame (Yes I buy them!).
I built the frame with Fox Float RLC 140mm, King headset, Thomson stem/post, Yeti SDG seat. Easton Carbon bars, XT chainset, XTR mechs, XTR shifters, XT cassette and some old bits off my last bike, the the Mavic 819 UST rims with King hubs.
I've ridden my Turquoise 575 every week since I got it, I ride it between 2 and 4 times a week in all weather, in all types of UK places, Mountains, Forests, road, races etc etc.
I'd guess I do between 60-100 miles per week.
So hows it been?
The frame has been great, there is 2 small stonechips, and the rest of the paint has held up great really shiny still and looks almost box fresh. I am not afraid of riding the bike in the mud, and the first few months of ownership it got muddy every ride!
The forks have been a dream, with just the regular wiper seal service and a bit of muck getting the in rebound knob- easily cleaned and works like new.
The YETI SDG seat has been great, very comfy although I have now worn the word YETI off the back, it still looks good and still feels comfy. Far better than the old WTB Yeti seat that rips you into 2.
I've just decided to take the frame apart for a better look, and to make sure it all still works right, the pivots are mostly in perfect working order, however I will replace them as a couple feel a bit gritty. Not bad considering all the dirt its been though.
The shock has never lost and pressure, and has only needed an eyelet bushing in the past 12 months, I'm going to replace the seals and give it a good clean out and air can serivce.
The Carbon swing arm has been brilliant, not worries and far stiffer than the old one, I'm told a top tip is to get the DT skewers. Also the shock can be removed without the need for a rate link tool.
In the past 12 months I've got through the following....
2x XT bottom brackets. (currently on XTR- but King on the way)
4x Continental vertical UST- 2 worn 2 ripped.
1x Maxxis Ignitor UST- ripped it.
1x XT middle ring
1x chain
1x XT cassette
King rear hub serviced once.
1x XT front mech- it just wore out.
2 rear gear cables
1 front gear cable.
14 sets of shimano brake pads !! Sintered version.
Brakes bled twice.
2x new UST valves- they just broke.
I'm really thinking of getting a new 09 575, but this one still looks and rides so well I am tempted to keep it!
