Enjoy it! I have seen this bike for a while on SDH, and you must be the person who sold Yeti 4x. Yeah, yeti bikes rock Keep up posted, it is always interesting to see another 303 and compare builds. Mine rides superb though I am thinking about some changes to the spec. Cheers

so you still planning on the volvo Yeah. V70 D5, or T5 (if in good price) or R version (hehe, I like to dream from time to time) I just need to get my debts under control, i.e. consolidate etc and then, hopefully mid March I should be able to get one.

Things aren't looking good....I stripped it down to just clean out the rails and find out the bearings in the rear stiff link are dead..and you can only buy them as a complete set for £100. Seeing as its dismantled I'm thinking of a full respray which is looking to cost £250 at least and Bromley are charging £100 for labour to fit the bearings and do a full service on the rails...Im starting to wonder if 1. will ever ride this bike and 2. is it worth all the effort....then I look at it and the answer is yes to both, but still bad times...thats all my money gone for fox 40's

Get in touch with "cuthberm" on here, I remember he said something about servicing his 303 himself, so maybe there is some money to be saved here. Maybe you two can get the worn out bearing out of the frame/link. If you manage to do so, there should be a number/size on them (aslo check yeti 303 manual) so you could buy just them, not the whole set. As for full respray - I would not do that. 250quid can get you few days of riding in some great locations so unless the paint is battered to death, I would rather not do respray.

hmm thanks man..erm il try contact him..as for the respray I think it might be worth it as the paintwork is pretty bad, lacquers coming off in places..couple of deep scratches and all along the underside of the bottom tube someones done patch repairs which looks very messy, Im really not sure at the moment, il decide depending on what I can get 40's for.
