Hi there, I was wondering if a few of you running an SB66C could check something for me... I have the CTD rear shock on mine but it appears to have a strange id number to others I've seen. The sticker on mine says 'custom tuning ID CMDN'. All other SB's I've looked at have CCX4 as the ID code. I'm not aware of any differences in spec when I purchased my SB66 but seems to be a bit strange. It even comes up as invalid code on the Fox website but the CCX4 code works fine. Any help appreciated...cheers.

Ccx4 on my shock. Medium August 2012 carbon.
What size is yours?

I did buy a new shock aftermarket more recently, and the code on that is invalid.

Maybe yours does not suffer from too little rebound, to little compression and actually works like a fox shock should!

Now there's a thought!! .. I've pinged Fox an email to see if they can help and Silverfish weren't able to shed any light on it..

Could have been a million reasons it's got that number.
Let us know!

Just had a mail back from Matt at Yeti and apparently CMDN is the tune ID for the 2014 shock. It's not listed with Fox on their website yet hence why it's coming up invalid. I've just asked him what changes have been made to the tune for 2014....will be interesting to see.

I bet it's has more damping in compression and rebound circuits.
