Hi Shaun, hope you had a safe and happy new year! I was wondering if I can go in my new DT Swiss EXC400 rims tubeless? I saw Jared rides EXC400 but not sure if you run them tubeless? thank you in advance for you response.

I ran jared's tubeless sometimes, depending on track conditions, and how he was feeling at the time. I used a standard tubeless setup and sometimes a ghetto tubeless setup... Basically so no sealant came in contact with the carbon rim. I only did this as it was a super tight fit and didn't want to roll tyres etc. It does work as per normal, with stans tape and tubeless tyres, just make sure you use a DT tubeless valve and don't over inflate!!!!! the main problem with carbon tubeless setups is that people try and bead the rim with alot of pressure, which can blowout the sidewall of a carbon rim. Use plenty of slippery soap and trying to set the bead with your hands. Don't get the pressure over 50psi..Hope that helps.

Sorry for the late reply... We always ran 35psi front, and 45psi rear. Very rarely did this change. Also there was only 1 other track i remember running a nobby nic instead of a racing ralph, and i think that was Fort William? Really loose corners there.
