Where it's fair to say your van would successfully complete the journey to France and back. I suggest that, with some personal experience, it would be a minor miracle to survive your driving. There is a hedge/gully/ravine with your name on it.
I can confirm that the trip to any venue in Clarksons van is more adrenaline fuelled than the actual riding. I have regularly soiled myself enroute. Concentration is not your best atribute my curly topped freind.
For god's sake fly!!!!!

I've never killed anyone, I have no points on my licence and have never had an insurance claim. Lets just say I drive on the edge.

Fort William 6-7th Sept then? If you can make it that weekend, I will make sure I am coming. I will double check chairlift at Fort William is open and there is nothing in the way, such as NPS or something like this.
Let me know how you want to do it (ie what time you want to start the trip) so I can have a look at train connections.

starting as early as possible. i don't fancy getting there at 3 in the afternoon to do an hours ride. and then an hour in the morning. so the earlier the better. even traveling friday and crashing out somewhere at mid night and starting late saturday.

ok, where do you exactly live? I need to check my train connection. Is it Sat only or Sat-Sun riding?
