The meet is going to be at the bike radar Live bike festival at Brands Hatch in Kent.
Little different to the regular wet wales weekend, should be really good, Be even better if we can get some Yeti pros along too!

Hi Andrew
any more updates on the Tribemeet??, will there be a ride scheduled for each day as with previous meets? / evening stuff / BBQ etc??, i live about 6 miles from Brands and was wondering if it's worth camping or just coming down each day??
any more news would be great
thanks Eddie

HI Eddie.
From what I have heard,
riding- No idea. I know there will be various tracks at the circuit to test & to ride bikes on. But as for a mega 25mile ride- Doubt it.
Evening- Working on a BBQ, or a Hog Roast like at Cwmcarn. Tribemeet people will also have their own marquee I understand
More news as I get it!

There's a few places to ride round there - in fact there was an old MBR route which passes about 2 miles from the circuit. A long time since I rode it but IIRC it's about 24 miles and about 65% off road. Official start point was Wrotham.

Hey everyone,
hate to sound negative but this doesn't sound like a tribemeet to me. Sounds like evolution where gonna be there anyway and decided to combine it with the meet.
Tribe should be all about getting yeit riders together and riding, i don't see that we're gonna get much riding done this weekend with all races etc going on. And how good are these trails?
I'm sure bikeradar is a fun event, but its not a tribemeet venue.
Just me two cents

I see what you mean, but at less than 30 people at Afan last year, the Traditional meet seems to have run its course. (and after the weekend at Crime Central - I don't really want to sort it out anymore!- would have felt so guilty if we'd have lost bikes)
Its good of Evolution to stump up a load of cash, and are organising a Hog Roast, Beer and a Marquee (so far), these will be just for Yeti owners to enjoy. There will be more news following........
Yes, its going to be different, and yes it won't be like Wales, but I think we need to give it a chance, it could be really good.
There is only so much I can sort out with zero budget, last year shows this, so its nice to have YETI UK (Evolution) back on board, and after 7 years of my way, I think its only fair to do it their way!!
Hope you can make it.
Also, note the 20% discount for Yeti owners when booking. Please email me for the code (Current code expired- new one on the way).

If anyones interested I think myself and Mark from TBC will more than likely get up to Fort Bill at some point if people want to make a weekend of it then game on. Camping, beer, Downhill, XC, 4x oh and Yeti's.
Not stealing anything from the meet, I cant make it due to work etc but would be keen to get up the bill.

UPDATE:-
Sad to bring this news but the tie in between the Bike radarlive show and the YETI Tribemeet seems to be unworkable.
I've got little news, but wanted to post ASAP.
Basically some of the things we wanted to do (food, beer) were not acceptable for the organisers of the Bikeradar show. Seems that they would not let us provide our own food etc.
So Yeti will still be there, the discount code still works, you can go have fun.
BUT, there will be no special Tribe activities or special area despite what was planned to go ahead.
Bloody red tape and paperwork.
Lets go ride somewhere instead!

How about a more central Tribe meet at Cannock ? The new Monkey trail is fantastic ! (rode it last Sun) Have you read all the positive comments on the chase trails forum?

Hi Mark, looks like no one wants to comment .. I wouldn't mind Cannock at some stage. Handy location for most I would have thought. I ride it a few times a year when I am working up there and I agree with your opinion of the Monkey. I rode it last week and reckon they have done a good job. Match report here if interested fred-simpson.blogspot.com/I saw a few out with pads and stuff and assume there are areas for the downhill guys up there too ? I assume you will be at the 7stanes in September, it's just up the road for you isn't it ? Fred

Hi All.
We are trying to sort a'lets ride our Yetis' day.
Cannock is looking promising, but there is stuff so so so so much better than the Monkey Trail & FTD. They also get very busy if its sunny. Good thing about those trails is it keeps people off the good singletracks!
I am still looking at Fort William, but when do the lifts close?

How about Brechfa? Ian Luff (drop off cafe) has his fun bus up there now so good food available. There are a few places to stay in the area and the trails are stunning!!
Two/three trails in the area and then Cwn Rhaedr up the road which is also stunning.
Good stuff for everyone, the raven has some nice big jumps but is totally rollable and is the best trail i've ridden for a long time.
To give an idea of distance its a 2hr drive from Bristol (i did it yesterday with my brother).
