Well guys, Yeah, yeah, i know its not even 2010 yet but i am really excited that my loving, beutiful, caring, understanding bla, bla, bla wife has just agreed that i can take some time out and go to next years tribe meet in the US. I know no dates have been issued and probably won't be for a while yet but these things take a bit of planning and notice where families are involved, but i just wondered if there is anyone else that would like to make the trip over the pond with me? I think it would be cool to all travel together. Presuming it will be a weekend i am thinking of traveling over on the Thursday morn and back on the Monday morn. Get a cheap flight, split the cost of hiring a car and then camp! So let me know if you fancy it, 'in principle' at this stage Cheers, Jamie

I will say yes for now.
But I know from my trip last year there will be no cheap flights when the meet is on, I paid about £300 return in March, and in July it was more like £700
But I want to go so bad!

Hey Andrew, Hope you are well. Yes i know, it could be too expensive and i would have to put a limit on the cost etc. However, in all the years i have been biking, i have Never been to the States to bike and i have always wanted to go sooooooo bad and i just think this is the perfect oportunity! But as we have said, i would rather go earlier/later and miss the tribe meet if it means we are going to pay stupid money to get there. If it does end up costing too much around July, maybe we could get a little group together and go anyway whenits cheaper. I mean, i have been granted one of my two 'passes of a life time'... the other one involving Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and a canal barge in Dudley, but thats another story!! Jamie

Guys, we will be more than happy to try and take care of you if you decide to make the US tribemeet in 2010. Expenses should be minimal after you reach Denver. We'll travel 10 per vehicle and eat beans if necessary.

Hey Dave, That's very kind of you. The one thing that may hinder us though are the damn prices of flights! Although if you guys made it this year then i feel we should respond. Will start looking properly in the New Year though and if it seems like a goer then i will start this thread up again. I know Fred is up for it. For now though, wishing both you and Chris a very happy Xmas and New Year ;D Cheers, Jamie

OK, guys and gals, a most reliable source on the Yeti staff has give us an early date for the 2010 US Tribemeet. The group will return to its roots in Durango, Colorado on August 13-15. Start the planning and watch the www.Yeticycles.com Tribe dropdown for detail. Hope you can make the company's 25th anniversary celebration.

Sound like a few have it together. A look at the Colorado map will remind you that Durango is a fair drive to Denver. Don't expect to wake up Sunday morning, ride a bit and head back to the airport for a 5pm flight. Throw a couple of days on either end if you can. Better yet, take 10 days like Fred.

Hey Daves As there may be a few of us coming over from the UK, do you have any top tips for those of us first-time to Colorado? I'm guessing it will be real hot and Sarah at Yeti said to bring plenty of bug spray - anything else you can think of would be much appreciated. See you there Evo Stu
