Well Ive done the deed.... Spoke to Mojo taday and the chap I spoke to seemed to agree the 36 Talas would fit the bill nicely. Ideal at 100mm of travel or whack em up to 130mm for a bit of 4X etc etc etc!! Went for the RLC model too! So far I've pressed in the King headset, fitted the chainset + B/B and have started lacing my King Hubs on the DT 5.1 rims..... I shall post my findings once its all built up!! Cheers again guys!

Hey guys,
Yep definitely dont go above 120 for most riding, the only time I crank the forks over 120 is for downhilling, it just makes it a bit more comfortable. On XC loops it stays at 90mm to give it a bit better behaviour up the climbs.
I dont find the bike heavy on XC, and it is extremely nimble, I kept a pretty long steerer tube so I can move the bars up & down for the best adjustment and flexibility on the trails.
I'd say a decent, light set of wheels will make a bigger difference than a lighter frame. One thing to note - keep an eye on the bolts holding the dropout on, I've noticed a couple of mine worked themselves loose and theyre a bit of a bugger to tighten to start with.
Any questions i'd be happy to answer!

I built up an 08 dj with a fox talas 32 rlc and use it as an all rounder. I am more then happy with it and find the light build up makes it much more pleasant to ride wether it be jumps downhill or xc..learning from experience of my old santa cruz jackal which was much heavier and not near as nice a ride as the yeti(just my opinion so chill if you dont agree!)
