Hello, So here's the deal, I'm slowly working on building a Krampus as my budget allows. Currently I'm riding an El Mariachi and once I can ebay up a large Krampus frame I intend to switch everything over. In the meantime I have a Krampus fork and front wheel set-up that I'm going to run on the El Mar. I want to cut the steer tube on my new fork but want it to be right when I build the Kramp. My question is: How long did you cut your fork tube? I will be riding a large frame, and usually cut my tubes long enough to fit 30mm worth of spacers under the stem so I have some room for adjustment. I will be running a Cane Creek 40 series when I do build it, if that helps. Please help I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
