Hi all, anyone ever experienced hearing water sloshing about inside their sb66 c frame, sure it's no big deal but just wondered

I had this. No issue, just annoying.
Most carbon frames have same issue.

I take my seat post out and turn bike upside down once a week to drain water out.

Same here expect mine turned to ice and rattled round inside the frame until it melted. I though something was very wrong at first.

I had the problem with my old Kokopelli ASR. I eventually drilled a small hole in the underside of the bb shell (alloy frame). My Big Top frame had a drain hole as standard.

Yes. I had water in my SB66-C frame last fall. I've been taking my seat post out occasionally as well. The water likely migrates down into the switch bearings if left long enough, but I don't recall if the assy is sealed from the frame cavity.

just a quick note, took seatpost out and a fair bit of water came out but not all of it. Removed water bottle mount bolts on underside of frame and lifted up back wheel and rocked back and forth and got the rest of it out, no more water! Surprising the amount of water that came out, if I ever run out of water on a run I'll just suck out of the frame! Could be a lifesaver! Lol

Yes it is Normal on a yeti ,easy fix is to buy a Giant .Most Carbon frames don't have this issue !! Some carbon frames have drain holes and others don't. It's not an issue. If that is the only reason you can think of to buy a Giant then you need to work on your sales pitch.
