Hey all
Sorry my first post is a question.....
Just noticed this afternoon after a spin that my dogbone link was broken on the non drive side, nice big space where there should be metal.....
So I need one of those for definite, but while I'm replacing that is it worth my while getting new bearings for the frame as well?? Any thoughts opinions??
Cheers

Hi Mark
08-11 frame? I have one in stock:) nobody else in the UK will have one apparently.
They come pre fitted with bearings.
You might want to fit new main pivot bearings, see how it all feels when you take it apart.
Usually 18-24 months old is when you should need to do them depending on how you've used your bike.

Hi Andrew
Thanks for the reply
I'm not sure which model range, it has the aluminium chainstays and carbon seat stays if that makes a difference
If its the right one I'll get it ordered up today
And I'll check the bearings once I have it apart. The bike has been well used since I got it (at least 3times a week throughout the summer) and with the summer in Ireland being totally pants I wouldn't be surprised if theres at least some dirt knocking round the bearings
Cheers

Just sold the stock one. Another on the way.
08-12 is all the same dogbone. That's the hydroformed front triangle just to be sure.

No worries, how long do you reckon? Is it best to buy it now or wait till its back in stock?
Yeah its the hydroformed one

You'll be covered under warranty usually.
If yours is the silver one, I've seen a handful recently. Sometimes if its set up too soft it can be pulling on the dogbone on constant bottom out.
It's not common though, maybe heard of 3 this year.

Forgot to say, I have another on order and due in end of the week, so order now to guarantee its yours. These things have a habit of selling out before I can get another one.

Hi All Yeti Fans,
This is my first logon. My name Budi Cahyanto from West Java-Indonesia looks like I have the same problem that Yesterday my silver dogbone Yeti 575 has broken. I bougth Yeti 575 frame from a store in Indonesia in 2010, And I think that the store will not have a stock of spare parts because the store only sells various brands of frames only. can someone help me how to get these part.
thanks a lot.

So I was changing back tyre on the bike and I noticed a slight knock when lifting the rear wheel. I managed to isolate it to the shock at the dogbone end. It only happens when I move the area up and down, there is no side to side movement . The dogbone is brand new and I checked all the bolts were tightened, so does this mean its the shock DU?
Do I just need the DU or the reducers as well. I've had a look at the exploded diagram on yeti and a rummage on TF and Mojo but not sure at all what to order.....
Any help would be great
Cheers

575 has 2 steel inserts in the du, these don't tend to wear out. So I'd say change the DU, the inserts of mojo and TG won't fit, the steel inserts are a yeti part.
A new DU should be around £5 at any bike shop, some will fit it for that.
I can sell you one for £5 if you need one.
