Dear all, I'm a proud new owner of a Yeti ASR-5 Carbon, purchased from my LBS only 7 weeks ago. My complete frame is currently being sent off to Evolution imports for inspection, due to two large cracks forming near the main pivots of the rear triangle. It was only yesterday that i decided to clean my frame and to my horror noticed two large cracks on the beefed up swing arm section of the r-triangle, very near to where the pivots are positioned. The U shaped section which joins both sides of the chain stays runs up and connects to the pivots. I have noticed two (one either side) inch+ long cracks that look very worrying. My frame is currently being investigated and I’m anxiously awaiting to hear the report. Not to my knowledge has the bike been abused or ridden excessively, and by no means am I an aggressive rider. There is not even the slightest scuff, mark or scratch as it has been lightly ridden and done less that 40miles since it was built by my LBS. I guess I’m looking for some reassurance that there will be a positive outcome as i simply could not afford or accept to have to buy a replacement rear triangle. My first frame got delivered smashed up, and now my second frame has two servere looking cracks. Why me I have used this image for illustration purposes only with a red marker showing the effected area. Thanks Chris Attachments:

I have had a similar issue and it was resolved no problems. You buy first class, you get first class service. Try not to worry, evo will look after you.
