Hi All, May be a daft question but is the dogbone tool definitely required to strip and change bearings/bushes on a 575 09 model? Seem's a little excessive to have to buy a dogbone tool as well as the parts.
I have a little play and an annoying squeak which i suspect is coming from the shock bearing/bush. Originally i thought it was the BB but turns out it's not.
Quite suprised the bearing/bush has gone this early, only bought the frame in Aug 09.
Also - Anyone know where i can source the bushes from?
Appreciate any help or advice?
Thanks

Its not absolutely necessary but it makes it a damn site easier. If you dont have one then I find it best to get help as you need three hands juggling it all

09 model does not need the dogbone tool to take it apart and off the frame.
You can switch the lower bearings with just an allen key.
Upper bearings press out, so you'll need a press/vice & some sockets will do.
I stopped selling the dogbone tool, as you only really need it on 05-07 575 and tat age of AS-R & its super costly.
